character pairings meme

I’m working a lot on revising today, both original work and fan fiction. So clearly, the best thing to do is take part in a fan fic meme! (Not like I don’t already have 20-plus other ideas for stories to write.) I got it from such_heights.
fifteen word stories
1. Write down the names of 10 characters.
2. Write a fic of fifteen words or fewer for every prompt, using the characters determined by the numbers. Do NOT read the prompts before you do step 1.
Seriously, try this meme. It's a hell of a lot of fun.
Author's Notes/Source Information
--"The Rake's Song" is from the album "The Hazards of Love." Listen to it on YouTube. The lyrics sum things up pretty well. Nightmare fuel, ahoy!
--Charlie is female (short for Charlotte)
--Austin is a one-eyed cat
--Minor spoilers for The Long, Hot Summoning by Tanya Huff.
--More Author's Notes at the end
1 The Rake (“The Hazards of Love” album by The Decemberists)
2 Morwen (The Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia C. Wrede)
3 Charlie Gale (The Enchantment Emporium by Tanya Huff)
4 Fflewddur Fflam (The Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander)
5 Molly Grue (The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle)
6 Blanche Glover (Possession by A.S. Byatt)
7 Sira (Mortal Love by Elizabeth Hand)
8 The Dog (The Storyteller TV series; creator: Jim Henson)
9 Jennifer Huxley (Mythago Wood series by Robert Holdstock)
10 Austin (The Keeper Chronicles by Tanya Huff)
First Time, 4 and 6 (Fflewddur Fflam and Blanche Glover)
A third harp string snaps. Blanche smiles and kisses Fflewddur, just to shut him up.
Angst, 7 (Sira)
Sira greets Larkin and remembers when Nick came home, hallucinating and covered in scars.
AU, 1 and 8 (the Rake and the Dog)
“Let me tell you a story,” the Rake says and the Dog backs away.
Threesome, 3, 6, and 9 (Charlie, Blanche Glover, Jennifer Huxley)
Charlie kisses Blanche, who drops her journal. Jennifer puts her arms around them both.
Hurt/Comfort, 5 and 10 (Molly Grue and Austin)
Molly rubs behind Austin’s ears and they pretend that the Red Bull won’t destroy them.
Crackfic, 1 (the Rake)
“Thanks, but I’m not actually that interested in abducting young women,” he tells the Queen.
Horror, 10 (Austin)
In the nightmare, Austin is a mummified cat, forgotten in Meryat’s tomb.
Baby fic, 5 and 9 (Molly Grue and Jennifer Huxley)
Molly shoves the crying infant at Jennifer, who remains unimpressed after raising two sons.
Dark, 2 and 8 (Morwen and the Dog)
They stand guard against the door. On the other side, trolls, goblins and demons wait.
Romance, 4 and 7 (Fflewddur Fflam and Sira)
Fflewddur begins the song and Sira smiles at his fingers on the knotted harp strings.
Death fic, 2 and 3 (Morwen and Charlie)
Morwen buries the bard in her garden. From then on, she hears music at night.
Author’s Notes:
I’m not satisfied with all of these, but there you go.
Oh God, so many of these can end badly in so many ways. Also, all of the romantic and/or sexual pairings could be Crackfic all on their own.
--AU: I think this one could scare the crap out of both me and the Dog if I did write it. It’s also the only one I’m ever remotely likely to write.
--Threesome: No way in even the most fictional, crackfic, AU universe would these three end up together.
--Hurt/Comfort: This is actually funny, because there really is a snarky, one-eyed cat in The Last Unicorn!
