Gobbled it up

I just finished reading Rebel Angels by Libba Bray, the sequel to A Great and Terrible Beauty. And by "just" I mean "ten minutes ago." This time you get immediate reactions, not an academic essay.
--Miss Moore is Circe? Noooooooo!!!!!! But she was so cool and snarky and great! Damn.
--I liked Simon until he ended up being a bit of a snob. But then, he's an upper-class man in Victorian England. Nature vs. Nurture.
--Gemma & Kartik: OTP.
--I can't believe the author makes us sympathetic to Mrs. Nightwing at the very end. A surprising plot twist!
--I wanted to take a shower after finding out the truth about Felicity's father. I hope she's able to protect Polly.
--The sections with Gemma's father (especially when he's almost well) break my heart.
--I enjoyed reading the book very much but at times it felt a bit long to me. Though enjoyable, it felt wandering at times.

libba_bray. If/when this gets made into a movie, I'll be eager to see it.
