Authors You Would Write To (If They Were Not Dead)
*Try limiting it to ten writers
Lloyd Alexander
Mary Lee Settle
Anna Akhmatova
Edna St. Vincent Millay
M.M. Kaye
Astrid Lindgren
Sappho
C.S. Lewis
Angela Carter
Faiz Ahmed Faiz
If I sent a letter to Lindren, I would include a photograph from the year I was Pippi Longstocking for Halloween.

Date: 2007-08-13 05:06 am (UTC)I can think of a few texts whose authors I'd like to chat with. If, you know, we knew who they were. And I shared a language with 'em.
Beyond that, I'd really like to have met Douglas Adams. Based on what he wrote in Salmon of Doubt, he seems to have been a pretty darn cool guy.
I have written to my own favorite author, C.J. Cherryh, and received a response from here.
I'm also toying with penning a letter to Ian Hodder, but that's more for his work as an archeologist.
Beyond those... honestly, I'm not sure what I could say that would be worthwhile.
