I might have mentioned that around Thanksgiving I was listening to the audio book of A Wrinkle in Time . Mom asked what I was listening to, I tried to describe the plot, and she got interested. This ended in her listening to the audio book, then immediately reading A Wind in the Door and A Swiftly Tilting Planet . (I really should re-read those last two.) And I've almost gotten her to promise to read The Dark is Rising Sequence while I'm in Spain. Let's hear it for bookaholics!

She's still got two more in the series! And then she should read House Like A Lotus because it's Meg Murray all grown up and married to Cal!

I've read the books I already mentioned, as well as An Acceptable Time. When summer vacation comes, I'll have to go to the library and borrow all the L'Engle books that I can find.

I've always known that Mom loves to read (I had to get it somewhere!) but I'm still laughing at how easily I converted her to this series.
