amelia_petkovaI really do love telling stories with my family but sometimes the weirdest things come out.
This afternoon Dad and I were visiting my grandmother. She started telling us about an incident involving my aunt, uncle, and their dog:
They live in the country and my uncle hunts. For some unknown reason, my uncle shot a squirrel and left either the entire thing, or its skin, on the porch. The dog, who is several years old, ate it. My aunt comes out onto the porch and discovers this because the squirrel's tail is hanging out of the dog's mouth.
(pauses while everyone screams with disgust like Dad and I did)
First of all, she was worried about the mess it would make coming out of either end of the dog. Also, what if the dog choked on it? It hasn't swallowed the tail, after all. Finally, she pours some hydrogen peroxide into its mouth (Dad and I: Wait, isn't that poisonous?) which makes the dog puke up the squirrel.
I have no idea what she told my uncle afterward. I'm guessing there was scolding involved.
General reaction to the story: HOLY SHIT!!!
My family only appears normal.
