Is your social worker inside that horse?

I'm rewatching Season 2 of Hannibal and loving it. As you may have figured out, I just got through the horse episode.
Sometimes I wonder if the characters will ever encounter a crime scene/other scenario so weird that they'll finally say, "This is too much. Screw this, I'm out." This is mostly inspired by the guys finding the live starling inside the victim of the week.
Margot Verger also appears in this episode. Hi, Margot! Seeing Katharine Isabelle onscreen reminds me that I need to get back to writing that Hannibal/Ginger Snaps 2 crossover where Hannibal is Brigitte's therapist while she's in rehab and it kind of gets out of control because as experienced as Hannibal is, even he's not expecting actual werewolves.
I had to fast-forward through the scene when Peter finds out that his social worker has taken away and killed all of Peter's animals. I scream at the characters a lot during this show and enjoy it, but that scene is just too sad.
I'd forgotten that Beverly died so early in Season 2! I love that she goes down righting and I like to think that she at least nicked Hannibal with one bullet.
Chilton is awful and hilarious at the same time.
That's all for now, though I'm sure I'll have more later. I also need to remember to post that entry about parallels between Utena and the Carmilla web series.
