--Aang’s grandkids are hilarious; I don’t blame Tenzin’s wife wanting her next child to not be a bender
--darn it, I want the story about Zuko’s mom!
--a new flying bison!
--love the polar bear-dog
--I realize Iroh is probably among the deceased characters but I hope the Jasmine Dragon makes an appearance
--Korra inherited Aang’s tendency of committing accidental property damage
--the fight and chase scene in Republic City reminds me of Cowboy Bebeop
--that’s Toph’s daughter, all right
--if I were Korra, I’d miss the easy travel/anonyminity of Aang’s time
--I wonder how many times Chief Bei Fong will end up arresting Korra during the series
--“Fire Ferrets”? Seriously?
--Korra, you don’t destroy the antiques! Did some of Zuko’s family get reincarnated in her, too?

MAKO! THEY NAMED A CHARACTER MAKO! I literally flailed and almost burst into tears when i realised they did this as a tribute to the original Iroh voice actor! T_T (Also, when Sokka was confirmed as snuffed it, I let out a wail)

re Mako: OMG how did I not realize that?!?!

I'm hoping that we get scenes in the spirit world, where the original characters turn up. And if Katara dies during this series, I will flip out. Katara said "most of her friends" were dead, so I'm still holding out hope for some of the others appearing...I would not be at all surprised if King Bumi is still alive.

(By the way, did something happen to your tumblr account? It seems to have disappeared from the Internet whenever I looked it up the past week or so.)
