looking for movie recs

Due to recent tech purchases, we now have a free trial membership to Netflix that lasts until the end of the month. It's good for downloading movies, not getting them through the mail. Because we're more or less lazy and have lots of other activities, we haven't used it yet. Of course, the moment I decide to do something about this I don't have any ideas of things to watch. My current ideas are Studio Ghibli films and a rewatch of A:TLA. Any other suggestions? Comedies, foreign-language films, anime, whatever. I don't promise I'll get around to watching everything but I'll definitely look into it.

Hua Mulan is one that recently impressed me, foreign-language-wise :) And I cried like a baby as well. I love good Chinese drama. Icon is a shot from the film :)

Thanks for reminding me! I had borrowed the DVD from a library last year but it didn't have English-language subtitles.
