really, guys? really?

Against my better judgement (and the fact that I haven't watched it in a few years), I decided to watch tonight's episode of Supernatural when I heard that it was set in Lily Dale (I visited it during the summer season for the first time this year, though I didn't have a reading). Even though I didn't expect great accuracy, I'm still twitching over the following:
--setting: The set looks nothing like the real Lily Dale. At least make an effort, people.
--random people wandering up to Sam and Dean to talk about messages and auras: I was at Lily Dale for several hours and didn't have that happen once. Most of the mediums were in their homes doing readings (it gets really busy in the summer). The employees I encountered were mostly teenage/college students working summer jobs.
--the black "exotic accent and con artist" psychic: Really, show? Screw you.
--the Fox sisters: lived, born, and died in Lily Dale? Please. The sisters were born in Hydesville, NY. Lily Dale wasn't founded until late in their lives and I think they may not have even set foot there,
--summoning ghosts: It's called Spiritualism, not Ghostbusters you morons.
--the ouija board death: I would have to check on this but I don't think any of the mediums use ouija boards. I know they don't use tarot cards. The reason is because New York state requires anybody who makes money using objects like those to get an entertainer's license and the mediums at Lily Dale aren't entertainers.
--the tour guide at the museum: the tour I went on was not led by a dapper gent with a snooty accent. He was more like an elderly hippie.
And that was within the first 25 minutes. I'll just continue hitting my head against the desk now.
