some Avatar reactions

I've just finished the first season and started the second of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's nice to find a recent cartoon show that I actually like. I have some reactions behind the cut.
Overall
--I will never get tired of laughing at Zuko's emo.
--The show is delightfully insane in general, aside from the interesting plot and characters.
Season 1
Episode 1 "The Boy in the Iceberg"
I will never get tired of Iroh's efforts to get his nephew to just chill out. "Why don't you enjoy a cup of calming jasmine tea?" "I DON'T NEED ANY CALMING JASMINE TEA!" *flamespurt*
Episode 10 "Jet"
I had to pause the DVD for a while when they got to the sepia-toned "being pulled up to the tree-tops" because I started having Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves flashbacks and couldn't stop crying with laughter.
Episode 13 "The Blue Spirit"
I hadn't expected that plot twist. My favorite bit is the WTF look on Zuko's face when he wakes up and Aang immediately starts rambling about friendship.
Episode 14 "The Fortuneteller"
I know Sokka's the butt-monkey but I'd be annoyed with those villagers, too. "Can your 'science' explain why it rains?" "Yes! Yes, it can!"
One of the things I love about this series is the animal mish-mashes. I have no idea how the writers thought to cross a platypus with a bear, but I about fell over laughing at how the giant bear laid an egg when it was scared!
Season 2
Episode 2 "The Cave of Two Lovers"
The hippies! Oh my god, the hippies! Despite this being a children's show, I kept waiting for one of them to offer a bong to Sokka because they think he needs to "chill out."
Uncle Iroh continues to be my favorite. Of course he'd risk being poisoned to find out if the mysterious bush makes The World's Best Tea.
