I love autumn food

Wow, I'm really on a roll for LJ posting lately!

We're getting into the autumn harvest and that means it's time for cider. Can anybody recommend a recipe for making hot mulled cider or a mix that I could buy? (Products to avoid are also very useful.)

I love autumn food too. I just make my own "mix" consisting of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg to taste. Go easy on the cloves unless you want a numb tongue. Adding rum is tasty.

Any suggestions on proportions?

I'm looking forward to experimenting with baking. Last year I made pumpkin bread using a mix my parents had found in some store. I ate the whole loaf in about four days. :)
