Now that we're into the second week of school (in college world), I went online and checked out the campus newspaper from my undergrad. My favorite parts were always the police blotters: one from the on-campus police and one from the town police. With the town police, almost every write-up is due to open container violations (usually by the students under 21) or public urination (again, almost always the drunk underage students. Once in a while there's a marijuana bust). It's kind of disappointing that the students at my alma mater continue to court cirrhosis; on the other hand, at least they aren't doing anything that's worse. Ah, undergrad.
