shades of Jacky Faber

I visited the Rejected Princesses website today and found this page of information about a 16-year-old girl who was a repeated horse thief, jail breaker, and violinist in the 1920s. I feel like Veneida [sic] Smith is Jacky Faber's spiritual descendant.

God, I still love those books. (Except Boston Jacky. That one never happened.)
