fandom questions
Apr. 15th, 2011 08:29 pmI've got a couple of fandom-related questions that I'm hoping people can help me out with:
1. In the past year or so, I'm noticing "agency" turning up in a lot more discussions, especially with female characters. Am I right in thinking that this is basically the same as motive, or is there some part that I'm missing?
2. The "five things that never happened and one that did" fan fiction style. Is this for the most part just what it sounds like and the author comes up with any five ways that something could have taken place, or is there more structure/background to it? (As a comparison I'm thinking of drabbles, which I believe started out as a story strictly limited to 100 words but has expanded to describe short fics of up to several hundred words.)

3. I've realized that I want Gilmore Girls fic about the summer Lane spends in Korea with her relatives. Anybody know if this exists?
