warning: rage
Apr. 12th, 2010 09:52 pmReading my f-list today, I came across this story from
evilpuppy via
cleolinda: United Airlines' insane treatment of a disabled passenger.
Are you kidding?!?! You're hearing more and more about airlines being assholes these days, but this takes the cake. It's right up there with that one airplane cruising around the runway for 8 hours, not letting the passengers go to the bathroom or providing them with food, or anything. I'm fortunate enough not to have any disabilities (I know enough that I can't fully realize what it's like to have to deal with that every day) and don't travel by air often but cross United Airlines off my list! It's enough to make one want to drive, or take the train, or bus everywhere. The only good thing about this whole mess is seeing how many people on the Internet have responded.
Edit: Reading through the comments at
evilpuppy's entry, somebody posted a link to a music video made by a musician whose guitar was destroyed by United Airlines. Sometimes the Internet can be a great thing.
