after the LJ move
Nov. 19th, 2008 12:28 pmDid anybody have problems with the LiveJournal move yesterday? I've only quickly skimmed my journal but everything looks fine. I thought about doing the ljarchive or "book" pdf format, but I only started thinking of it the day before (let's face it, I'm not the most computer literate person) and I figured a million other people were trying to do the same thing.
Last night there was a Twilight event at the bookstore. I initially went "oh shit" because of all the coverage of insane fans but, honestly? The store was just as quiet as usual for a weeknight. I think they might have been in the cafe. I also realized that the scary fans were probably at the major premieres or in line at the movie theatre, not squeeing at a Barnes & Noble/college bookstore.
(For the record: even with people buying it every day, I think we still have more copies of the Twilight series than the Bible.)
We have snow on the ground. Quite a bit of it. Not uncommon for western NY in November but I'm still griping about not finishing raking the leaves before this happened.
