Introduction to Spain

I´ve been in Spain for over a day and a half--and traveling time added on. Mostly, I´m glad that I´m here. A little nervous and wanting hugs from my parents, but that will pass. We´re staying in a hostel in Madrid. Today we had a brief trip to Toledo, which was incredibly beautiful. I still get lost easily, though. We leave for Valencia tomorrow morning. Next hope: that my señora, roommate, and I get along. I´m keeping a paper journal, of course. Maybe I can publish some travel writing after returning to the United States.
