Just finished watching Merlin 3X03. Surprisingly, my problem isn't with script-writing, or characterization, or the pranks. My issue came up in the first minutes:
Geoffrey of Monmouth, what the hell is wrong with you? You're a historian, librarian, and archivist! All those books in your library are covered with dust and cobwebs--those are not proper preservation techniques! You don't have a proper cataloging system and you don't even know the location of the book Merlin is looking for. Those books are probably one of a kind and you're keeping them in poor condition. Bad librarian!
