For Your Entertainment

I watched the last half of Revolutionary Girl Utena in the couple of days before I left for Spain, which resulted in rather odd imaginings and thought processes. Apparently some of those ideas are still kicking around, as I recently came up with the idea for a soundtrack to the series.

"Hotel California" by The Eagles
"Bells for Her" by Tori Amos
"I´m Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred (Focusing on Akio and Touga; personally, I spent all the shirtless scenes either laughing or cringing.)
"The Lady of Shalott" by Loreena McKennitt (Focusing on Anthy; I mentioned in case it was a bit obscure.)
"Sweet Transvestite" from Rocky Horror Picture Show
"The Point of No Return" from Phantom of the Opera
"Prospero´s Speech" adapted by Loreena McKennitt (Focusing on Dios.)
"Dude (Looks Like a Lady)" by Aerosmith
"It´s All Been Done" by Barenaked Ladies
"Walk on the Wild Side" by Lou Reed (from [livejournal.com profile] littlelotte)
"Bachelorette" by Bjork (from [livejournal.com profile] hasufin)

This requires that I am able to find a copy of Gilgamesh, then read it. (Cause I don´t remember much of anything.) Perhaps Project Gutenberg...but then I need to have computer access.

Hooking my interest like that...you´re mean.

So rumor has it.

You're a true academic. Most people wouldn't give a damn.

This version is free, but the interface sucks and the translation they're using is "special" (http://gilgamesh.psnc.pl/)

this page may be more useful (http://www.mythfolklore.net/3043mythfolklore/reading/gilgamesh/resources.htm)

Or you could purchase the ebook for $4 (http://www.diesel-ebooks.com/cgi-bin/item/parent-0141026286/The-Epic-of-Gilgamesh.html)
