Ahh, this long weekend away from school was exactly what I needed. I got to relax at home, enjoy lovely weather, go places in a car, eat a pomegranate, henna my hair, and when I got back...

MY CDS HAD ARRIVED!!!!!!

You are now reading the Livejournal of the gleeful owner of Dracula: Entre l'amour et la mort and Elisabeth. It will be very hard not listening to the CDs when I'm in classes. But now I have the kick-ass music! Also, this weekend I bought The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova in paperback! (Lots of exclamation points in this entry, no?) I think it's safe to say that my supernatural cravings have been satisfied for this Halloween season. Now I just have to come up with a Halloween costume. It has to be something I can wear to class, seeing as how the holiday is on a Tuesday this year.

It says "Wien cast". I think it might be the one that was done ten years after the musical started. I ended up with this cast because I loved the clips on YouTube.

Ah, Vienna Revival :) I approve heartily, because Máté and Serkan are love. Did you know that in less than a month, they'll be releasing a full recording of that cast?

No, the worst part was when I discovered that Dracula has finished playing less than half a year after I found out about it.

Uwe... let's just say that I keep hearing Jakub's impression of him singing "Tod zu sein ist komisch" ;) Also, hotbeast just downloaded the original cast video of Elisabeth and is very amused at the size of Uwe's backside, apparently. I'll see once I get it from her.

What, Entre L'Amour Et La Morte? Strange, the site lists tour dates until the end of December.

Ok. Now I just need to scrape together the money for a road trip to Canada. At least I'm not too far away from it.

I'll have to check out that cast video. Backside humor is always entertaining.
