non-nanowrimo: the end
The last day of my personal writing project was yesterday. I tallied up my numbers this morning. With a starting goal of 50,000 words in 30 days, I made it to around 19,900 words. I hadn't expected to make it but I thought I'd do better than that. Still, I had a lot of fun and was way more productive than usual.
The break down is something like:
--paper journal: @ 2,450 words
--fan fiction: @ 13,880 words
--original fiction: @ 100 words
--schoolwork (I wasn't going to count this but I did have to get pretty creative on a few assignments): @ 3,300 words
During the last couple days I started to crack from having so little time left and extreme amounts of school work all due at the same time, so I just started writing whatever drabbles I could think of. I also started several new stories (some of them were just writing down the plot bunnies) because I had all these ideas but not blocks of uninterrupted time or the concentration to work hard on them. I do wish I'd gotten more done on my original fiction but I'm glad that I finally got a lot of writing done on some of my incomplete fan fics. But at least half of them turned out to be brand-new stories! I have some completing of first drafts and editing to do. In the end, at least I'll be posting some more stories. You can expect it to start within a few days.
