Much of my season 2 rewatch consisted of me wanting to give Rue lots of hugs. All of the characters go through rough times but Rue might be the winner for Character Whose Life Has Consistently Sucked The Most.

That scene on the roof is so great! Ahiru almost falls off and Rue starts getting this look on her face of, "Oh my God, you're still just that dorky girl who wants to be friends." And it almost works! Ahiru almost gets through to her! *sobs*
