Against the Dark

During Thanksgiving vacation I listened to A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle as an audio book. I'd forgotten how much I loved her writing. So much of the book is about fighting against the Dark and hopelessness. About halfway through, I was reminded of similar elements in The Dark is Rising Sequence . The dark rider would have fit in perfectly on Camazotz. It's been several weeks since I thought of this connection, so I can't remember all that I was going to say.
